Howie Kaplan is a Controller at Mack Property Management’s (MPM) home office in Phoenix, Arizona. Howie is responsible for the financial reporting for the MPM portfolio, including corporate, residential, commercial, and development entities. In all he oversees a team of 11 employees and is focused on ensuring that MPM is providing quality financial reports in a timely manner. Outside of being a team leader, his current responsibilities include taking part in quality control measures, optimization/efficiency efforts, and partnering with MREG/MRED team members to strengthen current client relationships. He started his accounting career in 1997, all of which have been in the Real Estate / Property Management Industry, including Equity Residential and CBRE. Since coming to MPM in January 2021, he has been an integral part of the team development and product solution. He is honest, responsive, collaborative, and believes in good customer service and strong relationships. When not working, Howie enjoys family time and makes sure to be present and active in his kid’s lives.
